The way the author describes his experiences, it's almost like he is relishing and glorifying them - as if they are even still quite a temptation for him. The way he spoke about women was offensive to me, and left me feeling worse off after skimming through these chapters, about men in general and their supposed unchangeable nature. I believe instead of helping boys/men avoid these temptations, the way it's written would instead conjure inappropriate images in one's mind and cause them to be curious about seeking things out. This is not how I want my son to learn about his sexuality and keeping himself holy before God. There is a better way to educate our kids about sex and the way God intends for it to be. I would NOT suggest this book. I WOULD suggest checking books available at Pure Desire University. The content is relayed in a professional, scientifically based way while also being faith based and not "prettying up" or glorifying the sin.
