Although the book is broken down into chapters that treat the various methods that people use to influence others, the chapters do not contain, in my opinion, enough specific examples of the principles that are discussed. The paragraphs tend to ramble internally, and what examples are given are limited. In some cases, no specific examples of the principle are given at all. The topics are certainly valid but the fleshing out of each principle varies from topic to topic. I think in 2021 that the scarcity topic should have included the hoarding of toilet paper. In light of the numerous hurricanes that have hit the East Coast, there should have been, at least, a nod to the scarcity of replacement building supplies. The book is informative, but lacks specificity in numerous instances.
